Nuts over Nuts?

Can't seem to get enough of them nuts? Or just dying to stay away from them? I for one am not really fond of snacking on nuts. The more you chew on them the more your jaw muscles seem to slack into laziness. And who would want to have those perfectly manicured nails chipped just because of some nut? Well, there are actually a few that I can think of which I would really crave for at times. Almonds are my favorite especially when dipped in dark chocolate. Now that's a treat! But of course not everyone thinks so. But hold on to those pistachios and think twice. You never know what benefits having a chipped nail and slacked jaw can do to your health.
Nuts are high in good monounsaturated fats, protein, fiber, nutrients and antioxidants. Not only can they aid in digestion but they also promote good heart. Studies have shown that eating nuts lowers the risk of heart diseases, aids in weight loss and helps lower bad "LDL" cholesterol.  4UK9NXV42WN7

Almonds contain minerals such as potassium, manganese, copper, iron, the antioxidantsVit E and selenium, and calcium. They are high in monounsaturated fats that prevent various diseases like heart diseases. They also contain calcium that aids in bone build up and prevents osteoporosis.  A quarter cup of almonds has almost as much calcium as a quarter cup of milk. Almonds are also rich in fiber, and have been known to be the best nut to lower cholesterol level because 70% of the fat they contain is the healthy, monounsaturated variety, which has been shown to help clear the arteries. They are also beneficial in giving you a glowing skin since they also aid against pimples, wrinkles and hair fall.
Walnuts are known as food of the gods. They are an excellent source of omega-3 essential fatty acids, which have been found to protect the heart, promote better cognitive functions, and provide anti-inflammatory benefits for asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema and psoriasis. They contain the antioxidant compound ellagic acid which is known to fight cancer and support the immune system.
They lower the LDL or "bad" cholesterol levels, increase the elasticity of the arteries and lower the levels of vascular cell adhesion molecules, which play a major role in the development of atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). They are also known to increase the bone density, prevent gall stones and Alzheimer's disease.
Cashews are rich in copper, magnesium, zinc, iron and biotin. They are less in fat compared to other nuts.65% of this fat is unsaturated fatty acids and from which 90% is oleic acid, the heart-healthy fat found in olive oil.
Pecans are rich source of Vits E and A, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, copper, phosphorus, potassium, manganese, several B vitamins and zinc. Similar to the walnuts, pecans when consumed as part of a heart-healthy diet, also helps in lowering the levels of LDL cholesterol, thus promoting a healthy heart and clear arteries.

Brazil Nuts are high in protein, copper, niacin, thiamin, magnesium, fiber, Vit E and selenium. Selenium is a powerful antioxidant that works to neutralize dangerous free radicals in the body and helps lessen the risk or prevent breast cancer. They aid in maintaining the weight and in the proper functioning of the thyroid gland. Brazil nuts can also help alleviate zinc deficiency.

Macadamia Nuts are high in protein, fiber, healthy monounsaturated fats, potassium and magnesium. Having these nuts as part of a healthy diet can lessen the levels of bad cholesterol in the body which promotes a healthy heart.

Pistachios reduces the risk of a heart disease. They contain potassium and lutein which helps maintain blood pressure and fluid balance in the body. Lutein is an anti-oxidant, usually found in green leafy vegetables and brightly colored fruits, which prevents cholesterol from clogging up the arteries, thus raising blood pressure. Pistachios are high in copper, phosphorous, protein, magnesium and vitamin B6 and many other B vitamins. They contain phosphorous which helps build bones and teeth. B vitamins which help in the efficient breaking down of food thus helping in better digestion and weight loss.
